First impressions review!
Odin and I just sat down to play the newly released Ready Set Heroes. Which is a rogue like competitive dungeon crawler, with a co-op level rush mode.
The aim of the online competitive mode is to be the first through the dungeon in order to have the best gear to help win the final brawl. We think this is a great idea for a game but we had some game glitch issues getting past some of the rooms, so we got smashed in the brawl.
The Co-op game mode was a lot more fun but it is a shame that it is only split screen. Couch co-op is awesome and I am glad to see it in this game. I would just like to have the option to play the Tower Crawl mode online with a friend as well.
Over all the art style and look of the game is great, it just needs a little work on the game modes. We would not recommend getting this to just play it as an online game with random players. But would give it a thumbs up if you are playing with 3 other friends for some light competitive fun local or online.
